What You Need to Know
When is the festival? Where is it located? What age group?
The Festival will take place from July 6 to July 12, 2026, in Ávila, Spain. Ávila is located approximately 108 km (65 miles) from Madrid, the capital of Spain.
This festival is designed for students 15 years of age or older and/or with a level equivalent to Spain’s 3rd Middle Grade level or higher.
In exceptional cases, students who do not meet these requirements may also be considered for participation.

How much does it cost to attend?
Full Board – €790 per person
Includes all classes, concerts, mentoring, insurance, sightseeing tickets, hotel accommodations, and three meals per day.
(A discount is available for students who have participated in previous editions.)
Half Board – €520 per person
Includes all classes, concerts, mentoring, insurance, sightseeing tickets, and two meals per day (lunch and dinner).
Does not include hotel accommodations.
Festival Only – €350 per person
Includes all classes, concerts, mentoring, and insurance.
Does not include hotel or meals.
Parent/Presenter Rate – €520 per person
Available only for parents/guardians accompanying Full Board students or for invited presenters.
Includes all concerts, mentoring, insurance, sightseeing tickets, hotel accommodations, and three meals per day.
Enrollment Fee: €40 (non-refundable).
All applicants must pay the enrollment fee.

Where will I stay during the festival?
Students will spend the week at the Hotel de las Moradas, which is located in the heart of the city within the walled enclosure, a few meters from the Palácio de los Serrano, one of the venues of the festival.
Where will we eat during the festival?
Full board and Half board students will enjoy their meals as a group at Soul Kitchen
Please let us know ahead about any intolerances, allergies and dietary restrictions so that we can adapt the menu.
When is the deadline to sign up ?
International students should sign up and pay by APRIL 30th, 2026. Spanish students can sign up by June 15th, 2026.
Limited spots available (only 7 students per instructor) so we encourage you to reserve your spot as soon as possible.
What instruments are allowed to sign up for IV Avila International Music Festival?
This edition we will focus on piano, sax, violin and flute. Formed Chamber Music groups are highly encouraged to apply.
Where will the classes take place?
The classes will be given at the Palácio de Los Serrano, belonging to the Ávila Foundation, a 16th - century palace with all top notch comfort and technology of the 21st century.
The piano classes will take place at the Fundación Ávila Auditorium.
